OpenStudy (objr-_-15):

In "The Yellow Wallpaper," the woman that the narrator sees in the wallpaper is A. the narrator's mother. B. the reflection of John's sister. C. a symbol of women everywhere. D. Charlotte Perkins Gilman.

OpenStudy (markisabeast2.0):

C

OpenStudy (bookishdreamer):

I'd say c as well

OpenStudy (rosierosette):

I believe it is C because we constantly see her develop this hatred for the yellow wallpaper due to constantly being around it. In addition, the narrator is talking about how she feels trapped and wants to go outside. We can apply this to context by saying that she wants to free every woman of the time period and how they were restricted, too.
