Find the volume of the paving blocks in yds.  1 yd = 36 in. the volume in yds of the pavers would be
1 X 1 X 1/6 yds or 1/6 cubic yd.
Now 1 cubic yd would make 6 pavers as 6 X 1/6 = 1 cubic yd.

Divide the volume of 1 paver into 1 cubic yd.

The dimensions of the rectangular paver is 36" by 36" by 6".  You have a choice to make, you can vonvert all dismenstions to inches or you can convert all dimensions to yds.

I chose yds.  One yd is 36 inches.  Use that information.  I solved the problem in my first post.
