How can the properties of an acid be explained? Why does glucose C6H12O6 (aq), not have acidic properties even though 1 mol of glucose contains 6 times as many hydrogen atoms as 1 mol of sulfuric acid?

Acids pretty much just drop their hydrogens everywhere. I think glucose holds on to its hydrogens because they make the molecule stable, but I'm not sure.
