OpenStudy (legomyego180):

Partial derivative with respect to x

OpenStudy (legomyego180):

\[z(\ln(\frac{ x }{ y }))\]

OpenStudy (legomyego180):

Treat z as a constant, derivative of ln(x/y) with respect to x would just be (y/x) right? So my answer would be zy/x?

OpenStudy (legomyego180):

Im making a mistake with chain rule I think but i cant see what it is for some reason

OpenStudy (legomyego180):

Ah I see what it is. It should be \[z(y/x)(1/y)\]
