Tanya makes $7.25 an hour working at the department store. She received a 15% raise. She works 30 hours a week. How much more money will she make this week as a result of her raise? A$32.63 B$33.63 C$36.63 D$34.63
Alright
So if she receives a 15% raise that would be 7.25 x .15. And you would get 1.0875. You would then multiply that by the numbers of hours she worked that week (30) So 1.0875 x 30 would give you 32.625, round the 2 to 3 because of the 5 and you would get $32.63
Hope that helped
