we will have to derive the equations of both data let's start with the table pick 2 points (4,100)(5,125) determine the slope Slope = y2-y1/x2-x1 Slope = 25 now use y - y1 = m(x - x1) to determine the equations where m is the slope y - 100 = 25(x - 4) y - 100 = 25x - 100 y = 25x When x= 12 let's find the y value y = 25(12) y = 300 Now let's find the equation for the graph pick 2 point again (2,60)(4,120) Slope = 30 y - y1 = m(x - x1) y - 60 = 30(x - 2) y - 60 = 30x -60 y = 30x when x = 12 y = 30(12) y = 360 The graph is 60 values more than the table

i'll have to go for a bit

OpenStudy (volleyballlover55):

wait i just have a few left.. please stay for just a couple more mins http://prntscr.com/dizj37

OpenStudy (will.h):

rate of change is the slope pick 2 point (1,15)(2,30) Slope = 15

OpenStudy (will.h):

be back in 5 mins

OpenStudy (volleyballlover55):

ok please come back..

OpenStudy (volleyballlover55):

is my answer correct? http://prntscr.com/dizmje

OpenStudy (will.h):

yes correct indeed
