iYuko (iyuko):

Studying for my Mid-term... In geometry, which is considered an undefined term?

iYuko (iyuko):

Angle Ray point Line Segment

OpenStudy (sooobored):

an point is a set position in space a line segment is a set distance between two points an angle is, well a set angle between two lines a ray goes off into infinity

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

try them step by step angle -- is defined ? ray --- is defined ? point --- is defined ? line segment --- is defined ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

these above wrote by @sooobored will help you sure easy

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

@sooobored nice work !!!

iYuko (iyuko):

Is it a line?

iYuko (iyuko):

Ohh I see. A line goes for ever just like a ray

iYuko (iyuko):

So a Line and a Ray are bot considered "undefined"

iYuko (iyuko):

Thanks!

OpenStudy (sooobored):

ray starts from a point and goes onto infinity a line can be considered as two rays attached to each other-both sides go onto infinity i mean, the term undefined is a bit iffy, you can define a line and a ray as a equation but in context to your question, i would assume thats the best answer
