OpenStudy (leenathan):

is it c

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Do you have an answer key that says that or can you prove it?

OpenStudy (leenathan):

idk i looked it up to get the answer but it didn't give me an explanation how to solve it

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

It's a division problem. \(\dfrac{4.1\;\cdot\;10^{13}\;km}{9.46\;\cdot\;10^{12}\;km / \;light\;year} = \dfrac{4.1}{9.46}\;\cdot\;10^{13-12}\;light\;years\) Se how that works? Divide the regular numbers out front and subtract the exponents on 10. The units do the rest.

OpenStudy (leenathan):

oh ok so 9.46/4.1

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

No, that's upside-down.

OpenStudy (leenathan):

yeh ik sorry my pc being slow and glitchy so look at dis is it right? https://www.google.com/search?q=9.46%2F4.1&rlz=2C1RNVH_enUS0536US0540&oq=9.46%2F4.1&aqs=chrome..69i57&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#q=4.1%2F9.46

OpenStudy (leenathan):

then just move the decimal down

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

4.1/9.46 * 10 = 0.4334 * 10 = 4.334

OpenStudy (leenathan):

oh thats why
