PEOPLEZ. Here's what I thinks.
OpenStudy should leave Brainly and be its own website.
People should donate more, instead of going to *Cough* PA and just for getting the title.."Donor".
Now if you go to Brainly, ask a question, you'd be dead by the time it gets answered.
Now no no no, I ain't talking crap about Brainly, I have an account there and very nice people..
All I'm saying is, OS should not be shut down because of its "deadness". There's a lot of people on here, who help each other and are really happy with what we have.

._. It used to be a separate site but... it was sold to Brainly. Now brainly wants to shut it down and doesn't want to sell it to no one, so there really isn't any way to save OS unless you have 3 million dollars ^.^ and of course, even if I did have those "3 million dollars" I wouldn't give $10 on this site .-.

we're only being told that openstudy is being closed because brainly wants it closed
- it's most likely not because of the 'deadness'
- it might have to do with how $3 million dollars plopped into brainly's lap about a monty before it was officially announced that brainly "acquired" openstudy
- it might have to do with there being an investor who invested in both openstudy and brainly
- it might be an opportunity for brainly to knock out some major competition
- it might be that it just wants more people on its own site and is trying to ship all openstudiers over
- it might be that openstudy is so horribly coded that the amount of servers needed to keep it running is not worth it

there's a lot of factors
there's a lot of possibilities

but brainly not closing openstudy, is not a possibility.

Yeah, the money needed to buyout OS from Brainly, and maintain it is tremendous. Not to mention, as Jiggly said, OS has horrible code. I don't know who was doing the coding but it's basically fix on-top of fix. It's like consistently building on a bad foundation with lighter and prettier materials but still, it's crumbling, and the load is only getting heavier. There are numerous glitches that number too many to name.

wow who would have ever knew that all of that work in biology would get me to the big man on hippocampus would go to waste but im saying this if this site really closes down im not going to any more study sites because i worked so hard in biology to get those medals so im not starting over and if there is any other site that i signed up i am deleting all of my previous on brainly and question cove accounts and im never going to use a study site ever again so ill just figure the question out my self especially on my usatestprep so R.I.P OPENSTUDY JAN 31st 2016 i will always love you openstudy forever even in your death and the users well you guys we had a nice run but i gess the road ends here saidly so peace opensudy and openstudy users.
