The answer is 2 mols. Here's why: A mol by definition is the amount of elementary entities (particles, atoms, molecules etc.) as there are in 12 grams of carbon 12. So if the particles of one mol are doubled, the mols are doubled (multiplied by 2). So: 1 mol carbon 12x2= 2 mol of other substance.
