OpenStudy (poto):

OpenStudy (518nad):

IM JK LOL

OpenStudy (518nad):

u have to show ur dealing with similar triangle here lemme draw it

OpenStudy (518nad):

http://prntscr.com/dk2fo1

OpenStudy (518nad):

since the line split both sides into 1:2 ratio it must be parallel

OpenStudy (3mar):

@Poto Do you still need help? The theory is: "The segment connecting the midpoints of two sides of a triangle is parallel to the third side and equals its half length" so you can apply that on lines \(VU\) and \(QR\)....

OpenStudy (poto):

Okay! And yes I do still need help!

OpenStudy (3mar):

So what did you get from that?

OpenStudy (poto):

That the line of VU is congruent to 1/2 of QR

OpenStudy (3mar):

Exactly! You are Awesome! That is what I am waiting for you to get it.... \[\Huge VU=\color{red}{\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }}QR\] or \[\Huge QR=\color{red}2~VU\]

OpenStudy (poto):

So with that being said, would my answer be 12.

OpenStudy (3mar):

Congratulations! You hit the right target! \[\Huge\color{DarkCyan }\checkmark\]

OpenStudy (3mar):

Are you satisfied?

OpenStudy (poto):

Yes and thank you as always!

OpenStudy (3mar):

I am so happy to hear that. Thank you for learning! +Thank you for your appreciation! +Thank you for your patience. I am here for your help.
