I play clarinet yall and i was wondering how to get the best high note sound possible it is the high d
It would take time to adjust before getting good at it. I suggest using a strong, firm mouthpiece like a 3 1/2 to be able to play difficult notes. It would take time to adjust but I think you could manage. Tips on how to create a good clarinet sound: - A leather ligature creates a better sound than metal ligatures Tighten the corners of your mouth so air doesn't escape. - Adjust rolling the bottom of the teeth - Your throat should have an open feeling, creating an AH sensation - Don't lean back or having your back against your chair when playing the clarinet; sitting on the edge of the seat will create more airflow. - Don't bite on the mouthpiece - Use water instead of your saliva, it would deteriorate the mouthpiece. Suggestion, wet the reed before; it would soften the wood and the sound would comeout better and easier - Adjust the position of the reed and the ligature; line up the reed against the tip of the mouthpiece and adjust the ligature towards the bottom of the reed. Make sure it's screwed tight and snug but not too tight. Here's a neat tip: A good tip to play notes without squeaking is to press your fingers firmly against the holes that way, you can adjust your fingers to line up with the holes.
thank you!!!
