OpenStudy (julyahx1):

@zepdrix

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

I'm thinking c

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

or a?

OpenStudy (royalranger):

Wikipedia tells me the sympathetic nervous system is most know for flight or flight, and unconscious actions

sam (.sam.):

SNS, sympathetic nervous system, flight; fight PNS, parasympathetic nervous system, digestion; relaxation

OpenStudy (royalranger):

Can you put more than one answer? if so, part one would be A and part 2 would be D.

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

it said that the parasympathetic nervous system makes your body calm and the other system ready on adrenaline. ? can i link u where i read this

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

The two parts of the Autonomic Nervous System The sympathetic nervous system, or the “fight or flight” response, prepares our body for action. All of the organs involved in getting ready for a physical challenge (“fight”) or preparing for a retreat (“flight”) are activated through this system. The parasympathetic nervous system (“rest and digest”) helps produce a state of equilibrium in the body. Both are part of the greater Autonomic Nervous System, responsible for involuntary and reflexive functions in the body. The Sympathetic Nervous System The sympathetic nervous system is faster-acting than the parasympathetic system, and moves along very short, fast neurons. The sympathetic nervous system activates a part of the adrenal gland named the adrenal medulla, which then releases hormones into the bloodstream. These hormones activate the target muscles and glands, causing the body to speed up and become tense, as well as more alert. Functions that are not immediately essential (like the immune system) are shut down to some degree. Your body goes through a number of changes when the sympathetic nervous system is activated.

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

thats what i read

OpenStudy (royalranger):

Are you allowed more than one option?

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

no only 1

OpenStudy (royalranger):

Barnacles.

sam (.sam.):

Only one?

sam (.sam.):

war; peace? I think?

OpenStudy (royalranger):

Tell your teacher she is trippin and just write down both answers lol

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

thats what i was thinking C but then people say A

sam (.sam.):

Yeah but B and C's choices are absurd

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

lol i can't XD I'm online

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

not b

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

i guys ill just stick wit a?

OpenStudy (royalranger):

If you are only allowed one, then i say A is the best guess. B and C are weird options.

sam (.sam.):

A is SNS only though, PNS is a rest and digest response

sam (.sam.):

Go for A, I'd go for C

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

ok thanks for the help guys. (:i have another question I'm not sure on

OpenStudy (royalranger):

Yo @.Sam. is that a nebula you got as you profile pic?

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

Which area of the central nervous system contains cerebrospinal fluid? Efferent tissue Subarachnoid space Dura mater Grey matter I don't know if its A or B

OpenStudy (royalranger):

well damn

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

i think B pretty sure

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

and lol XD

sam (.sam.):

@royalranger yeah nebula, or supernova, can't tell :p

OpenStudy (royalranger):

why is this? an Anatomy and Physiology class? the farthest i got was Biology

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

ya it is lol

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

I'm forced to take some type of science class sigh

OpenStudy (royalranger):

Google tells be the answer is B

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

ill stick with B

sam (.sam.):

Yep

OpenStudy (julyahx1):

flight fight was wrong i KNEW it I'm pellettin

OpenStudy (julyahx1):
