Will fan and medel Which sentence formats titles correctly? I have never read Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Who painted "Guernica"—Pablo Picasso or Gustav Klimt? Suzanne recited "Winter Time," one of Robert Louis Stevenson's poems. My parents saw the Metropolitan Opera Company perform Falstaff on Saturday night.

Any ideas?

OpenStudy (osprey):

Titles are usually put in quotation marks "title". I'd go for this one ... Who painted "Guernica"—Pablo Picasso or Gustav Klimt? I've just noticed that this one has a comma in the quotes. Suzanne recited "Winter Time," one of Robert Louis Stevenson's poems. BUT, I doubt whether the title of RLS's poem was "Winter Time,". So, if the sentence read Suzanne recited "Winter Time", one of Robert Louis Stevenson's poems. that WOULD be better to my eye, and might even be right ... Problem is that the q does it with the comma in the quotes. Hence it's the Picasso one

OpenStudy (liv2952):

I'd go for the second one - Who painted "Guernica"—Pablo Picasso or Gustav Klimt?
