George has been in an accident, and his insurance company agrees to pay for his repairs. The charge from the auto body shop is $2,850.00, and George's insurance policy has a $1500 deductible. How much will the insurance company pay for the repairs?

The deductible is the amount George must pay. Anything over this and the insurance will cover it 2,850.00 - 1,500.00 = 1,350 So George will pay $1,500 out of pocket The insurance will pay the rest, which is $1,350
