a_1 = 3 a_2 = 3/2 a_3 = (a_2)/2 = (3/2)/2 = 3/4 a_4 = (a_3)/2 = (3/4)/2 = 3/8 ..... a_n = (a_(n-1))/2 = 3/2^(n-1) hope this helped
