i was also thinking c. bc i don't think it's b or d. i know that judges base their case rulings on the Constitution & the law; not public opinion.

I agree with C because it is about electing officials and the idea of judicial review. That's the whole purpose of electing a judge so that the judge can focus on the current issues at hand. Most people elect judges that will go for their own cause, and the vast majority of the electors of a judge are current politicians.
