Please Help!! Will fan and medal!! In a quadrilateral ABCD, the diagonals bisect each other at point T. Based on the given information which statement is presented first to show that side AB is equal to side BC? A. Angle ADT is congruent to Angle ATB. B. Angle ATB is congruent to Angle CTB. C. Side BC is equal to the diagonal AC of the quadrilateral. D. Side AB is equal to the diagonal DB of the quadrilateral.

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

do you can drawing it please ?

OpenStudy (mndean):

@jhonyy9 there is no drawing of it sorry

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

ok. but than you see an image you can deciding what will be the right answer my opinion

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

|dw:1482191132902:dw|

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so this rectangle is a quadrilateral - yes ?

OpenStudy (mndean):

ooh I see what your saying

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so now than you see this image how you think please what choice need being true for side AB being equal side BC ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

the first choice make sense for this case ? how you think ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

1. angle ADT congruent angle ATB make this sense in this case of side AB and BC ? my opinion that no so the second one choice how you think ?

OpenStudy (mndean):

I think the answer is either A. or B. but I'm not sure which

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

why ? i ve said above that the first choice not is so the second one ? say : angle ATB congruent angle CTB ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

to angle ATB correspond the side AB and to angle CTB correspond the side BC so make this sense in this way ? how you think ?

OpenStudy (mndean):

um it's a little hard to understand you, I'm guessing your not from America? Sorry, it's just a little confusing

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

sorry yes i m from Hungary - in Central Europe please check these two angles ATB and CTB so i ve wrote above that to angle ATB correspond the side AB and to angle CTB correspond the side BC and you need to get from these choices what is the first from what you get that the side AB is congruent side BC how you think it now ?

OpenStudy (mrs.ambrose614):

The ANWSER is b

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

MRS. ambrose yes you are right - so do you understand my explaination please ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

ok. so please look choice B. say that angle ATB congruent angle CTB yes ? but we know that to angle ATB correspond the side AB and to angle CTB correspond the side BC so than angle ATB congruent angle CTB from this result that the side AB is congruent side BC do you understand it now ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

@TheSmartOne please

OpenStudy (mndean):

yes I understand

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

ok. so than good luck was my pleasure bye bye

OpenStudy (mndean):

thank you
