First one this graph can be obtained by transformations of the graph of y^2 = 4ax which is a parabola with vertex through the origin and which opens to the right. So we can say straight away that the answer is either option b or c

The vertex form of this graph can be written as x - b = (y - a)^2 where (a,b) is the vertex Check out the graph - we see that the vertex is at (4,3) so now you can tell which is correct option.

The answer can also be confirmed by plugging in a point on the graph ( 7,9) and see if it fits the chosen equation.
