The ancestors of elephants inhabited every continent except Antarctica and Australia. But the Asian and African elephants are the only ones to survive. Why? Dinosaurs killed all other elephant species. Asian and African elephants killed off other species of elephants. Asian and African elephants adapted well to their environments.

For the elephants, yes @psirockin2 is correct. The land provided sufficient necessities for the elephants there.
Also, I don't believe there were elephants during the time of the Dinosaurs. I don't think there were even Mammoths back then.
And are Elephants violent? I don't think they'd kill each other or different kinds of each other
Lmao i dont know its a test question :P
Elephants are not violent to anything, unless the animal poses a threat to the elephants and or the herd, and the Elephants still act only defensively.
Im about to get an elephant pet then
Isn't that illegal?
an elephant is not an endangered species, so anyone whose zoning laws don't prohibit elephants can have an elephant as a pet.
Not sure xD
or google said that
But where would you keep it? in a dog kennel?
good point Saiyan. I don't know
