Prices of Flights (in dollars) 279 338 288 567 298 296 349 How will the mean and the median change if the outlier price is removed from the data set? The mean and the median will decrease by the same amount. The mean will decrease by less than the median will decrease. Both the mean and the median will not change. The mean will decrease by more than the median will decrease.

You're correct, as the mean is the average (so it'd be a smaller number), and the median is just the number in the middle (so it'd be a bigger number).
