This is an arithmetic sequence with common difference -3/2 so (-3/2)n must be a part of the formula Now the first term is 15 , where n = 1, so the formula for this must be (-3/2)n + 16 1/2 for n = 2 ( the second term) we have (-3/2)*2 + 16 1/2 = -3 + 16 1/3 = 13 1/2 so that checks out therefore the required formula is (-3/2)n + 16 1/2 Option C
