trueangel12312:

1. R' (-1,1) Z' (2,-1) Q' (2,3) E' (5,1)

AMQ:

i dont get the question?

trueangel12312:

Graph the image for the following rotations

trueangel12312:

Rotate them then graph it

trueangel12312:

Hello?

trueangel12312:

I'll be back I have to do something personal

AMQ:

I still don't get it...?

trueangel12312:

I am back!

trueangel12312:

Okay you have to rotate it like what it says there. For the 1st one; rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise about the origin which you already know is the middle so 0. Then after you rotate it you have to get the coordinates of the new place it is in.

trueangel12312:

Kind of hard to explain in some ways.

AMQ:

oh, so it tells you to rotate all of those images?

trueangel12312:

Yes

trueangel12312:

Then figure out the coordinates

trueangel12312:

I just want you to tell me if I am right or wrong. So can you check the 1st one first?

trueangel12312:

1. R' (-1,1) Z' (2,-1) Q' (2,3) E' (5,1)

AMQ:

They are all right except for R'. Try doing that one again

trueangel12312:

Um okay

trueangel12312:

I don't know

trueangel12312:

(0,0)

trueangel12312:

This is what I got for 2 btw C' (0,-5) D' (1,-3) E' (-4,-4) P' (-3,-1)

AMQ:

Remember, the rule is (-y,x), so you start with the y-value first. Also, remember that two negatives make a positive.

trueangel12312:

(1,1)?

AMQ:

the x-value stays the same...

AMQ:

it moves left, sooooo....?

trueangel12312:

1,-1

trueangel12312:

Oh um idk!!

AMQ:

yep

AMQ:

(1,-1) is correct

trueangel12312:

ty!

AMQ:

Also, you got them all right for number 2. Great job :D

trueangel12312:

Wait then I was correct...

trueangel12312:

Ohh I know what I did my bad! I wrote 1,-1 but I typed -1,1

AMQ:

lol

trueangel12312:

For 3: Q' (3,1) M' (-1,2) X' (-3,0) T' (-1,-3)

AMQ:

All good. :D

trueangel12312:

That's right?

AMQ:

yup :p

trueangel12312:

ty

trueangel12312:

I am gonna make a new post so you can get another medal

AMQ:

lol ty
