Giving direct answers has to do with everyone on this site. When you see a direct answer being given, that user has a responsibility to make sure it doesn't happen again, by reporting it to a mod.

And this "crap" is called the rules of the site, so maybe you should have read it before joining. (like you were supposed to)

And it doesn't matter if a user "wants the answer", if the user wants the answer, you still don't give it to them, because the rules are more important than what you want.
