SkyVoltage43:

The sea snails in tidal marine areas feed on the dominant species of algae. What kind of interaction takes place between the sea snail and the algae? mutualism predation competition parasitism

SkyVoltage43:

@Warriorz13

JustSaiyan:

Predation.

Warriorz13:

Mutalism

SkyVoltage43:

which one?

JustSaiyan:

Incorrect. Mutualism insinuates that both subjects each get something out of it. What is the algae getting out of being eaten by a snail?

Warriorz13:

Mutalism

Warriorz13:

It helps the algao by maintaining the population so it doesn't spread out of control.

Warriorz13:

But whateva, go with Him

JustSaiyan:

That isn't a plus for the algae. Mutualism is a plus side to a situation. Having their population contained wouldn't necessarily be a plus for them.
