P + 4q = 23 -P + q = 2 can some one help? (Systems review)

Times the 2nd equation by 4 so q is the same and then subtract the equation from the first equation. This allows you to find what p is equal to. Once the value of p is obtained, substitute that value into either of the 2 equations. This allows you to find q. Hope this helps.
