Well the amplitude is always the first number after the equal sign. So the number is 3. That eliminates C and D. Then we know y is always the last number or b. And in this case it is 2. Both A and B have 2 as out y. SO then we move to the parentheses. You put the last number over the number with x to get you period. You don't simplify. If you did it would come out as the wrong equation/answer.

Why?

Well in 23 we always know that b or the y-intercept is where the line crosses the y axis. In g(x) b is 3 which means it crosses at (0,3). Then if you look at f(x) intercept chart you see it too crosses at (0,3).
