Well the steps are
1. Identify the problem
2. Gather information
3. Identify alternitaves
4. Weight your options
5. Make a desicion
6. Take action
7. Review you decision

and for me personally, I would say either 1 or 6 is the hardest for me. 1 because sometimes it's hard to find out what the problem with the situation is, and 6 because I get quite shy when it comes to solving/confronting things in real life (I'm a selective mute).
