@Ultrilliam

sophie:

@ThisGirlPretty

Ultrilliam:

@Hero The question has moved here

sophie:

@Yinshy

sophie:

so i got ≈301.59 how do i convert that

Hero:

So the volume of a right circular cone is \(V = \pi r^2\dfrac{h}{3}\) I'm curious now as to how you calculated your answer. Mind explaining how you got your result?

sophie:

i got it

Hero:

Mind explaining how you got it?

sophie:

V=1/3(6)2(π)(8)     =96π     ≈301.59

Hero:

@sophie, Do you know what the values h and r represent?

sophie:

yes

Hero:

@sophie what do the values for h and r represent? Then after you explain that, please explain why you picked the values you chose to represent those variables.

Hero:

@Ultrilliam can't wait until you add the feature that allows us to post pictures directly in to the draw platform.

Ultrilliam:

If you like I can give you a code that will allow you to do it in the meantime ._.

Ultrilliam:

actually, I'll just execute it for your user ._. one second ._.

Hero:

Yeah, if you can automate it, that would be better. I'd rather not have to execute code every TIME because it is time-CONSUMING

Ultrilliam:

there we go, hit the draw tool and you'll be able to do that now :P

Hero:

I don't see the attach file button. That's what should be there.

Ultrilliam:

hit the drawtool and you'll see the "image" button

Hero:

Ya, I did. There's no image button.

Hero:

I suppose you want proof

Ultrilliam:

Errrr... what browser are you on O-o

Hero:

Chrome

Ultrilliam:

O-o Ok that is weird... let me try sending it directly to your browser again ._.

Ultrilliam:

did it show up this time?

Hero:

There we go. Thanks

Ultrilliam:

Oh ok, guess i misspelled your username or something lol

Hero:

Well, now I have the image feature and I uploaded the image, but now when I attempt to write, nothing happens.

Ultrilliam:

o-o

Ultrilliam:

oh apparently the current draw tool additional features and the image tool conflict with eachother... erm... :| Well it should appear in the proper position once you post it, you'll just be working blind ._.

Ultrilliam:

lemme test that to make sure

Hero:

I don't want to do it that way. I'd like to post the image first before writing.

Ultrilliam:

|dw:1495732149982:dw|

1 attachment
Ultrilliam:

yep that doesn't work quite right

Ultrilliam:

eh... I'll work on that...

Hero:

|dw:1495732181514:dw|

Hero:

Something's working. Maybe you have to post it first for it to work. IDK

Ultrilliam:

yea... theres a conflict somewhere though... LOL

Ultrilliam:

Anywho...

Hero:

|dw:1495732242585:dw|

Hero:

K, now that I've done that, I realize you have chosen the correct values for h and r @sophie.

Hero:

That image was kind of confusing. I don't know why they didn't just put the 8cm next to the height of the figure. SMH
