Maintenance Request: Repair the Edit Button Feature

There are two particular things regarding the Edit Button Feature I'd like to address:

1. Edit Question Feature
As you know, upon attempting to edit a question, a actual change attempt does not update the original question, which renders the edit question feature useless. I am hoping you could investigate this and find and fix whatever coding or formatting discrepancies exist that prevent this particular feature from functioning normally.

2. Edit Post Feature
I made this particular request recently. Just adding it here as a reminder for you. I know you have a lot going on with other updates you wish to make to the site. This particular feature could be useful for every user provided there is a time limit upon which the button is active. Three minutes after any post should be an appropriate limit for clicking the Edit Post Button. Afterwards, the button should either disappear or grey out preventing users from making any further changes to the posts. Implementing the feature this way will hopefully be a way of avoiding abuse of this feature.
