Gaily:

P=2L+2W L=20 W=15

Hero:

@Gaily you still around?

Hero:

I assume you have to solve for P? If that's the case, you should plug the given values for L and W in to the given formula, then solve for P.

Hero:

@Gaily, there you are. Have you attempted to solve for P?

Gaily:

No I haven't

Hero:

Did you understand what I posted above about how to solve for P?

Gaily:

I don't understand problem at all

Hero:

By the way, I should mention that P = 2L + 2W is actually the formula for the perimeter of (or distance around a rectangle). L represents the length or the longest side of the rectangle. W represents the width of the rectangle: |dw:1496119445825:dw|

Hero:

To find the perimeter of this given rectangle we would observe that the rectangle has four sides. Two of the sides have a length of 20 units each. The other two sides have a width of 15 units each. So we would simply write the following: P = 20 + 20 + 15 + 15 which can be simplified to: P = 2(20) + 2(15) Do you think you can finish solving for P from here?

Gaily:

Yes thanks GOD bless

Hero:

Awesome @Gaily. What value do you get when you solve for P?
