Luna:

This distributive property question is giving me a bit of issues.. Please help http://prntscr.com/fj2nfv

Luna:

I multiplied (4/15) by 3 and (-1/3)by(3/1)

Luna:

so it's 12/15 and -1 (because 3 cancels out)

Luna:

But it says it's wrong when I put -3/4x

satellite73:

\[\frac{12}{15}=\frac{4}{5}\]

satellite73:

not \(\frac{3}{4}\)

satellite73:

and the \(-1\) should be hanging out at the end

Luna:

ooh, my bad, so it's 4/5x -1?

satellite73:

yes

Luna:

Oh my gosh, thank you so much, I feel so foolish for my simple mistake. Thank you again!

satellite73:
