Is it any good?

For nearly as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a fighter pilot. However, as I was growing up different forces told me that all that could ever be was a dream. After awile of hearing that, I started to believe it and I would force myself to find an interest in other things, like digital animation or psychology. While there is nothing wrong with dreaming of entering those professions, they were not my dream, but that didn't stop me from trying to force interest in those fields. Here's the thing about forcing yourself to be interested in something: it wears off. It wears off your interest in that subject and potentially everything else. And that constant disintrest in things leaves you often times alone and helpless like you are swimming in a never ending ocean that is infested with sharks and your real dreams are lost like a piece of driftwood that went by days ago. And yes there are other people in that ocean with you but, unlike you they have boats. When they see you they want to help you but simply don't know how.
So here I am with my semi forgotten dream in the middle of a shark infested ocean and I'm holding onto that for dear life. After a while I notice something, those people who wanted to help me but simply couldn't at the time have come together to help me turn that driftwood into a boat, it wasn't the boat I was expecting, but it is a boat none the less as it still allows me to salvage part of that dream. Recently I have learned that while I don't meet the requirements to become a fighter pilot and likely never will, I have learned that I do meet the requirements to be an airline pilot in the future.
