trish:

Given the sequence -1, 2, -4, 8.... What is the 10th term?

Vocaloid:

hint: each term is the previous term multiplied by -2, so keep multiplying by -2 until you get to the 10th term -1, 2, -4, 8, -16, 32... keep going

Hero:

@Vocaloid it would have been better to ask what number can you multiply by the 1st term to get the 2nd term. @trish why did you close the other question. I was helping you with this.

trish:

@Hero sorry I'm new to this site I accidentally closed it, but if you could please help me out it would be great

Hero:

Well, I wanted to help you solve it on your own. By the way, closing the question does not prevent you from getting help on it.

Hero:

@Vocaloid gave you the information you need to solve this.

trish:

@Hero ya I figured that out
