it sucks but it's not worth getting upset about. Personally I enjoy answering questions for the sake of it, not because I expect recognition or reward.

make it so they have to verify, that way in the long run you won't get trolls :)

You have to verify to chat or send/receive messages (but you can still get messages from me)

however you don't have to verify to ask questions so there is still a route to communicate with people if you run into a issue verifying your email, as some providers block emails from people like us
