Uh o.o @Vocaloid @Ultrilliam @Elsa213
your original function is y = 5 - 3x to find the inverse, swap y and x and solve again for y so: x = 5 - 3y solve for y and compare to the function in the problem
How do I solve for y?
sorry for the late reply

subtract 5 from both sides to get: x - 5 = - 3y then divide both sides by (-3) to get (x-5)/(-3) = y
we can rewrite this into: -x/3 + 5/3 = y making the original statement true
