i have this so far The events start to change when he finds out the general is hunting humans instead of animals.The plot also changes when Sanger Rainsford wins that game and starts to like the game and becomes like the General and hunts down people.

At the beginning he believed animals felt nothing. Then he was stranded on the Generals island, and he is forced to participate in his game, becoming like the animals he hunted. Then he gained empathy for them, and eventually defeated the General, and took up the sport of hunting the greatest animal of all: Man.
