someone help please
@Ultrilliam
@JustSaiyan
@SkyVoltage43
what?
@Vocaloid
I am one of the last people you want to help you with your math.
Any other topic I can do.
then why are you in mathematics?
It just says everyone that is online and not viewing a question. It doesn't apply to that subject, as far as I have seen.
I will give you a medal though, and wish you luck.
@Ultrilliam anything?
*sigh* one sec lemme tell the person I'm playing chess with BRB x'D
...
Mean means average, so lets find the average of the dataset, first lets find how many people there are, (4*6)+(2*6)=36 next lets add up everyone in both tables (4*7)+(4*7.5)+(14*8)+(5*8.5)+(7*9)=x now to make sure I count them all 4+4+14+5+7=34... Welp I missed some Uh... but basically you would go through that, then divide x by how many there are, in this case there are 36 so x/36=y does that make sense?
so its 36
NO
Read what I posted
okay, so it is 36
i'm just pulling your legs man
Negative. That is part of the equation, not the answer
Oh thank heavens x.x
2.75 / 36
275 i meant
that seems more plausible, but I think your missing a few numbers, as I was, and I ended up with 275.5
7.652
I'm recount them all hang on
8+8.5+8+7.5+9+9+8+7+7+9+8+8+8+7+7+8+7.5+8.5+7.5+8+8.5+9+8+7.5+8+8+8.5+8+9+8+9+9+8.5+8=275.5
so 275.5/34? I had it wrong, the second table only has 5 rows, so it would be (4*6)+(2*5)=34
8.10
this is gonna be a long day...
Correct
now lets do this
@Ultrilliam
One sec
I feel like all of these are statistic... but I could be wrong
idk...
@Ultrilliam
ok I know this is closed but I got tagged in this while I was at work for the first one they only want the sample mean of the bottom 10 numbers
the second one is a bit harder: parameter describes the entire population and statistic describes the sample for the golf one I would say statistic since they imply they only sampled some golf teams soccer team: the data spans the entire soccer team so I would say parameter swim team: probably statistic since they only sampled 28 swim teams basketball: this is kind of vague but I'd say parameter
