They are joining slowly, sadly a lot of OS users don't even know about QCs existence yet

Im constantly seeing people joining saying they were from OS, and missed it quite a bit, and wished they knew this existed sooner, that happens all the time.


We didn't get the word out in time, and now its a waiting game as a result

Many reasons,
I wanted to give back to the community that had helped me so many times,
I wanted to keep the community together,
I love to code,
I always wanted to make my own website and would be impressive for my age,
I love to help people,
I love to see people being helped,
OS was very helpful to so many people, and I hated that its legacy was about to end,
In spite of brainly,
This will look great on a resume considering how old I am,
The reasons go on and on really.

I had so many reasons to do it, and really no reason not to do it.

For me it was (as I'm very VERY much broke), but thankfully we have people who can help with the hosting fees.
Honestly that's all we really pay for, hosting... keeping the site alive... As far as advertising and such goes we really cant pay for that, so that makes getting the word out that much harder.

the rest was either designed by volunteers (such as the logo) or coded by me, So expenses in making it was minimal

The people helping me having all been OS users, cause they didn't want to lose the site either, anytime I wavered even a little in wanting to finish this project, they kept me afloat in finishing it, reminding me just how much people wanted it, and how helpful it was.
