I was thinking along the lines of because of the fact that a lot of our emails end up in spam for gmail, and apparently the community isn't willing to help me get it off by hitting "not spam" as a result, what ends up happening, a lot of users don't know where to look for it, assume they are not getting it, and leave the site because they can't do much. Of course this is a worst case scenario, but we could lose a lot of users due to this and it going to spam.

But a lot of users don't know to check the spam folder, or even that it exists, I've seen it quite a few times already, as well as a quite a few people who were saying stuff along the lines of "I can't message you, it pops up with i need to verify or something".

I was thinking about creating a tutorial (that could be skipped) when you first signed up,

I was also thinking about adding into the verification emails "If you see this in spam, please mark it as not spam, thank you" However googles algorithm would detect this and likely mark us with more confidence of us being spam.

umm see i verified my mail ,then replace that yellow box with spamming thing if you want to receive more emails until and unless someone closes the dialogue box.
