nikkixmaire:

f(x)=4x+6 for x=-2

Falconmaster:

are you trying to find x?

Zowie:

She already knows what x is. X=-2. All you would do is plug in -2 where the x is. In this case the equation would look like, 4(-2)+6. Now all you would do is solve. Remember PEMDAS. No parenthesis, no exponents. So you multiply 4 and -2 together and that gives you -8 so now the equation looks like -8+6. So if you add 6 to -8 you would get -2. So your answer is -2.

Falconmaster:

oh i did not see that

Falconmaster:

zowie is smart trust her
