loveboy:

okay so lets start with question 1 :)

loveboy:

total students are 10 and there are 3 positions for winners. so we have |dw:1507130265703:dw|

loveboy:

now question arises what is the condition of winning gold out of 10 students

loveboy:

the answer is we have 10 ways to winning gold because out of 10 students ,all likely have same winning chances to win gold

loveboy:

now, suppose someone won gold,so there are 9 ways to win silver because there are 9 students left and all have same equal chances

loveboy:

similarly for bronze ,we have 8 ways

loveboy:

so finally|dw:1507130483812:dw| to find no of ways ,just multiply them so \(\large \bf 10 \times 9 \times 8=720\) That's our answer :)

loveboy:

if you get online ,we'll solve question 2
