Vocaloid:

I have a vague idea of what onto and one to one are but I don't know how exactly that relates to column/row span

Bearclaws72:

Your asking for help or helping someone voca?

Vocaloid:

asking

Bearclaws72:

Oh ok sorry have no clue if only hero was on

Angle:

various googling has concluded that onto must have a pivot in every row of a reduced echelon form

Vocaloid:

so I did some research and apparently n > m is the only answer that guarantees onto (I think I understand why, kind of)

Vocaloid:

*guarantees one to one

Vocaloid:

it really doesn't help that these two names are so similar

Vocaloid:

oh well thanks ^^

Angle:

aye well one to one is bijective

Angle:

it's easier to think about when talking about functions .-.
