Please help me A student, wishing to use a calculator to verify the value of Sin 30°,enters the information correctly but gets a display of -.98803162. He knows that the display should be .5, and he knows that his calculator is in good working order (Trig for Idiots, this means he has it in Degree Mode or so he thinks). What do you think is the problem?
