Welcome to QC! I've moved this question to Biology where you should be able to get help :) @theDeviliscoming @JustSaiyan

iosangel:

ok

JustSaiyan:

I can't help you with the prefixes, but I can help with everything else

JustSaiyan:

Interphase is the phase of a cell in which it spends most of it's life-span. This is the process in which the cell repeatedly copies itself for mitosis

JustSaiyan:

Generally every human has 46 chromosomes in their body. Half of them are from the Mother, and Half are from the father, each pairing up. This forms eye color, hair color, etc.

JustSaiyan:

There are two chromatids in each chromosome.

JustSaiyan:

There are 46 chromosomes.

JustSaiyan:

The number of cells depend on the organism. Unicellular organisms have one cell.

JustSaiyan:

There are 46 chromosomes in a single human cell.

JustSaiyan:

@iosangel Are you copying this down?

iosangel:

yah

JustSaiyan:

Alright. Next line.

iosangel:

wait

iosangel:

it said # of copies of genetic material each chromosome did you answer it?

iosangel:

hello?

JustSaiyan:

Yes. `Generally every human has 46 chromosomes in their body. Half of them are from the Mother, and Half are from the father, each pairing up. This forms eye color, hair color, etc`

iosangel:

so the answer is 46

JustSaiyan:

Yes

iosangel:

ok

JustSaiyan:

Prophase is the process of condensing the chromatin into two chromosomes.

JustSaiyan:

During prophase, there is a total of 138 genetic materials.

iosangel:

wait how many cells in the first line

iosangel:

it says # of cells

JustSaiyan:

It depends on the organism. humans have 37.2 trillion cells.

iosangel:

it says total number of cells in like a interohase

iosangel:

interphase*

JustSaiyan:

20 cells

iosangel:

oh ok

JustSaiyan:

There are 92 chromatids in each chromosome during prophase.

JustSaiyan:

There are 46 chromosomes

JustSaiyan:

There are 10 cells in Prophase.

JustSaiyan:

there are 46 chromosomes in each cell.

JustSaiyan:

Do you have all of that?

iosangel:

yah

JustSaiyan:

Next line.

JustSaiyan:

During metaphase, the chromosomes line up in the middle of the dividing cell, now fully condensed.

iosangel:

are you there JustsSayin

I don't know if we have Biology helpers online right now... Hmmm... @ThisGirlPretty I don't suppose you can help them?

iosangel:

i need help with line 3 and on

ThisGirlPretty:

Let me see if I can work dis magic ~~~~•

iosangel:

what that?

ThisGirlPretty:

Do ya have to put this in your own words?

iosangel:

umm it can be anything

ThisGirlPretty:

I use to master this module XD Okie. ~the power of tgp~

iosangel:

lol

iosangel:

the prefix part is ok i can do it

ThisGirlPretty:

Okie :D Gimmie a sec I has to fill me brain with ~sparkles~

iosangel:

lol ok

Tank yew okie ^_^

ThisGirlPretty:

Tank yew okie ^_^ During interphase, cellular organelles double in number, the DNA replicates, and protein synthesis occurs. The chromosomes are not visible and the DNA appears as uncoiled chromatin

iosangel:

is that for line 3

ThisGirlPretty:

Where it says ~Description of what happens~ Wait which one do you need help on again?

iosangel:

like line 3 on mitosis metaphase and on like the description of it and #of copies of genetic material etc

iosangel:

you get what i mean

ThisGirlPretty:

Starting from interphase?

iosangel:

because i already have all of interphase and mitosis prophase

iosangel:

i need mitosis anaphase mitsosis telophase ect

ThisGirlPretty:

Yes one seconds :P

iosangel:

ok

ThisGirlPretty:

I think this might help

ThisGirlPretty:

During prophase and metaphase of mitosis, each chromosome exists in the above state. For humans, this means that during prophase and metaphase of mitosis, a human will have 46 chromosomes, but 92 chromatids (again, remember that there are 92 chromatids because the original 46 chromosomes were duplicated during S phase of interphase).

ThisGirlPretty:

Is that it love? ^

iosangel:

thanks that help!
