Has the idea of “freedom from fear” changed over time?

I think it depends purely on your opinion...but to me I think it hasn't changed at all. Every human has fears and circumstances. These can involve numerous things, from depression to safety concerns, so the concept in my opinion still stays no matter what time period.

Its your opinion:

Freedom of fear is every persons fear, regret, or FEAR.

So if a person is scared of going to sleep because the house to doors down was robbed that's freedom of fear.

In my opinion it hasn't changed at all because people are still getting killed or robbed which worry's people in the same neighborhood.
