Math Challenge [for fun]

Vocaloid:

There is a two digit number that can be multiplied by a 1 digit number to get another two digit number. That two digit product can be added to another two digit number to get another two digit number. In this math problem, the digits 1-9 are only used once each (no 0). Find a combination of numbers that satisfies these conditions.

Vocaloid:

To represent this problem symbolically: _ _ * _ = _ _ _ _ [the product from step 1]+ _ _ = _ _

EclipsedStar:

I would have assumed such: 23 x 1 = 23 23 + 45 = 68 but... that "\(another\)" in the problem changes things since it can't be 1

EclipsedStar:

Well... I do know that the first number cannot be 51 and above

EclipsedStar:

a x b = c and c + d = e Since 1 can't be put in... T_T

EclipsedStar:

17 x 4 = 68 68 + 25 = 93

EclipsedStar:

bruh my head hurts

Vocaloid:

That's the correct solution, good work ^^
