Falconmaster:

Who were the prominent African American jazz performers during the Harlem Renaissance? James Weldon Johnson Duke Ellington Bessie Smith Louis Armstrong Alain Locke Jessie Fauset

Falconmaster:

What a wonderful world am I right wink wink nudge nudge

Falconmaster:

I only know about Armstrong @JustSaiyan

JustSaiyan:

Jessie Fauset was a poet, so not her.

JustSaiyan:

Alain Locke was the leader of the Harlem Resistance, so it could be him, but I don't think so.

JustSaiyan:

Louis Armstrong is one

JustSaiyan:

So is Bessie Smith

JustSaiyan:

Duke Ellington, of course.

JustSaiyan:

James Weldon Johnson might be one. He wrote songs, but I don't recall him preforming anything.

Falconmaster:

Okay thanks

JustSaiyan:

You're welcome.
