@Shadow

Shadow:

How do you think we should go about solving this problem?

Shadow:

@cookiemonster ???

cookiemonster:

ummm im not sure thats why i need your help .

cookiemonster:

lets start with part A @Shadow Part A: If the manager wants to award the sales team that has the most consistent earnings among its team members, which team should it choose and why? Justify your answer mathematically. (5 points)

Shadow:

Did you learn what Range, Mean, and Median are?

cookiemonster:

um i think so..

Shadow:

Can you define them for me?

cookiemonster:

ok

cookiemonster:

so mean is like the average number i believe and then median is the middle, and range is i think the lowest and highest values?

Shadow:

Which one do you think would be best utilized for Part A?

Shadow:

Just talk to me so we can figure it out. What is your first guess, and why?

Shadow:

Range is the difference between the lowest, and highest value Mean is the average of all values Median is the epicenter of all values

Shadow:

So if a team has a high range value, then that means that someone is earning a lot less than what the highest earner is bringing in.
