I believe our solar system was built perfectly. So the amount of gravitational pull or force being put on each of the planets wont allow them to intersect. The density of the moon may not allow it to escape the gravitational pull of the Earth. This is the best thing I could explain but sorry if it isnt correct :/ not really a science guy tbh XD
